• Puppy Package:
- Food sample for approximately 2-3 days, including canned and dry;
- wee-wee pad(s);
- tennis ball;
- 3/4" Nylon EZ snap collar;
- 200 + page color Golden Retriever Book(s) covering Grooming, Training, Health Care, First Aid, Nutrition & Feeding
- cloth "wiped with mom", and pups, if desired;
- lots of information, experience, and recommendations; follow-up contact if needed
- AKC Registration Papers
In Addition:
• Proven quality in raising and adopting our pups since 2000
• Gorgeous coat colors ranging from Light / English Cream, some with a "creamy peach/apricot" highlighting, to medium dark goldens
• Coats range from thicker, though flatter than "normal", to a less thick, shiny flat coat; ALL coats tend to have less shedding than "normal", especially the darker ones
• AKC 4 to 5 generation pedigrees and AKC registrations are provided on both parents; AKC registration forms for your adopted pet is provided at the time of pick-up
• On-site parents and some grandparents (some are retired) can be viewed, ears scratched, and tennis balls thrown for! - these are our pets and get 24/7 pampering
• Written health guarantee and insurance
• Shots are given every 3 weeks, starting at 6 weeks of age; also, de-wormed @ 6 weeks
• Lots of OFA & CERF in backgrounds / history of our dogs; no OFA or CERF problems in pups since breeding / adoptions started in 2000
• Pups have mellow & obedient backgrounds as well as some with the additional hunting background from our darker parent(s)
• Generally bred fro mellow temperament and obedience; great with kids and other pets
• Standard breed size; muscular / low-fat body build on both parents
• Male sires DNA tested and registered with AKC for your assurance of the pups you are adopting
• Family raised and well socialized with kids and other dogs
• PARTIALLY HOUSEBROKEN!!! They are usually well on their way to being potty trained. We raise the pups from day 1 to reinforce housebreaking routines and can show you this at our site
• Follow-up care instructions including crate training and basic obedience training
• Note: We do NOT remove de claws - how would you like one of your fingernails yanked out at 3 days old!!! This is NOT required by AKC for any showing or otherwise. Some reason this for hunting. Sometimes, if the dew claw grows abnormally, it may have to be removed later - VERY uncommon! God made 'em this way - we adopt 'em out the way He made 'em!
